RFID cards are widly used in Access Control, Identification, Security, Cashless Payment, Time Attendance, Hotel, School, Club,Tourism, Health Care, Super Market, Parking, Promotions, Membership Management and EV Charging, etc.
RFID cards can also be used for vehicle door lock systems and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. Here's how RFID cards are applied in these contexts:
Vehicle Door Lock Systems: Some vehicles, especially commercial or fleet vehicles, may utilize RFID cards for door lock access. Each authorized driver is issued an RFID card that contains their unique identification information. To unlock the vehicle, the driver holds or taps the RFID card near a reader located on the vehicle, which verifies their identity and grants access.
EV Charging Stations: RFID cards can be employed to provide secure and convenient access to EV charging stations. EV owners are issued RFID cards that are linked to their charging accounts. When they arrive at a charging station, they present their RFID card to the reader on the charging station, which authenticates their identity and authorizes charging. This allows for controlled access to charging infrastructure and enables billing and tracking of charging usage.
Integration and Backend Systems: In both vehicle door lock systems and EV charging stations, RFID cards are typically integrated with backend systems. These systems manage the authentication, authorization, and logging of access events. They validate the RFID card information, determine access privileges, and record usage data for reporting and billing purposes.
